About the event
The Boats Lights competition is a magical and heart-warming experience. It feautures decorated boats, houses and flats around the docks.
They all brighten up the cold nights with their lights, colours and shapes.
The marina office, dock gates and boatyard are light up too.
There are three categories in the competition:
South Dock boats
Greenland Dock boats
Flats/House (facing the docks)
The festive lights are normally on from 6pm to 10pm. Some of them for longer.
Come and visit the area, be amazed by the fabulous display and enjoy dinner or a drink at the various local restaurants and pubs.

Services run from early in the morning until late at night 7 days a week.
