A 20-Foot Light Art Installation, Raising Awareness of Water Pollution

We are excited to announce that we are working on the completion of a 20-foot light art installation called The Whale. The installation is designed to raise awareness of the effects of water pollution caused by humans on our natural world.

The Whale is being made possible thanks to a grant from the Cleaner, Greener, Safer (CGS) fund awarded by Southwark Council, the kind offer of Joel from Yes Make ltd. (https://www.yesmake.co.uk/), and The Paper Garden (https://www.globalgeneration.org.uk/paper-garden) , which have provided us with a splendid space to build the massive sculpture, and the hard work of many volunteers. Their support allowed us to evolve from a community project to a community reality! We are truly grateful for your help in raising awareness of this important issue.

The Whale will be a truly unique and awe-inspiring sight. It will be illuminated at night, creating a beautiful and powerful display. We hope that the installation will inspire people to learn more about water pollution and to take steps to protect our natural world.

The Whale is scheduled to be completed by December, 6th. We will keep you updated on our progress and let you know when and where you can see the installation for yourself.
